Violins -
I am a fiddler and have acquired a collection of violins that I
am making available to students in our local area with the hope
of helping young folks get a good start in playing the violin.
These instruments are available for rent and/or purchase.
Our goal is to provide quality violins at a reasonable cost. The
instruments have been chosen and set up to help a beginning or
advancing violinist learn to play without the hindrance of a
poorly made or set up instrument.
We will work with you and your teacher
to ensure the instrument fits properly. When the student
outgrows the instrument it can be exchanged for the next size,
subject to availability, at no extra charge.

The
Instruments -
The violins we have available are used instruments that have
been selected for their potential to be above average in
playability and quality of sound. They have been checked, set up
and tested here in our shop.
Available sizes are 1/8 (small) through 4/4
(full size). Outfits include a bow and case.

Repair Service -
I have been building, modifying and repairing musical
instruments for nearly 50 years. My shop is
well equipped to handle most basic repairs your violin-family
instrument may need.
